More reasons to register!

There's a saying that goes "A picture speaks a thousand words". To convey what words cannot express, we've posted a few photos of last year's Freshmen Orientation Camp activities (not even 1/50!!) below. Though the activities may not be the same this year, but the fun factor and enjoyment level remains high as ever!

Day one is just about a week away, and we're getting more and more excited by the day. We hope you are too! Let us meet at The Homecoming on the 1st of August!

What's in for us?

For those who have registered, or those who are considering, or those who are skeptical. This may be the million-dollar question most of you might be asking: "What's in for us?".

Well, plenty actually!

The Freshmen Orientation Camp is the best way to be acquainted with your second home in NTU! We will be bringing you around Hall 10 and NTU (and Singapore, actually :P), so that you can familiarize yourselves with all the facilities available in Hall 10 and NTU. We will also be bringing you to the secret, unknown corners of NTU, as well as introducing you to all the good food around NTU! You'll never get lost in NTU or Hall 10 with us!

The Freshmen Orientation Camp is also the best way to make friends in Hall! Living away from home can be lonely at times, where one is in his or her room, busy with one's mugging or project work with no one to talk to. Well, no longer! In this camp, you will get to know your roomie, know people from your block, as well as people from around the hall! These friendships will extend outside camp, all the way to the various block outings and hall activities, and even all the way into the exam mugging periods! You'll never be alone in Hall 10 with us!

The Freshmen Orientation Camp is also the best way to kick-start your school term! Various exciting sports and fun games have been lined out throughout these five days to get you'all happy and eager. What better way is there to kick-start the new phase of your schooling life with the FOC? You'll never be bored in Hall 10 with us!

Still not convinced?

We have put together a small booklet to introduce you more to this camp. It includes the background of this camp, a summary of the camp details, as well as sneak previews of the camp activities! Click here to see what we have been up to (and what you will be up to! :D )

Finally, we have put together an awesome trailer that gives a preview to the background to this camp. Why are we fighting amongst ourselves? Whose side will you be on? Sign up for FOC to find out!

It is not just our homecoming.
It is also your welcoming.
See our past,
Experience our present,
Shape our future.

Freshmen Registration

Hi incoming freshmen! We bet that you are all eager to join us at the Hall 10 Freshmen Orientation Camp on the 1st of August, and we are hell as eager to meet you as well! But before all the fun starts, there is still one very important thing that you need to do, that is to REGISTER for the camp!

By now you all might have received instructions on how to apply for FOC already. But bear with us! There are still a few more important steps to go ~

1) Click here to download the Hall 10 FOC Application cum Indemnity Form. Please DO NOT use the registration and indemnity forms found on the Joint Hall website (http://webx.ntu.edu.sg/jhoc/), as it does not meet the requirements for our camp. Use the Hall 10 provided indemnity form instead.

2) Print it out, fill it up and sign where required.

3) Scan it and send a soft copy to us at hallx.foc2011@gmail.com . CC a copy to NTUhallfoc2011@gmail.com . (If you dont have a scanner, you could alternatively use a camera to take a digital picture of the filled-up form).
(P.S. For incoming freshmen who were recommended into hall by Hall 10 seniors, please indicate in your application email which skill/talent you were recommended for and by whom)

4) Bring the hard copy of this indemnity form, as well as the Joint Hall FOC Application Form, and submit it to us on the first day of camp!

The official deadline for registration is on the 24th of July. We urge you to act fast, as application is based on first-come-first-served basis.

We look forward to seeing you (with your indemnity forms and JHOC application forms) on the 1st of August!
